LONDON: Following a series of fruitful talks with US senators and members of Congress in Washington and New York, a high-level Pakistani diplomatic mission has arrived in the United Kingdom.
Over the course of five days, the nine-member delegation, which was led by former foreign minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, participated in over fifty meetings to discuss Pakistan’s position on regional peace and disputes with India as well as to draw attention to New Delhi’s aggression and provocations against Islamabad.
Hina Rabbani Khar, Bushra Anjum Butt, Syed Faisal Subzwari, Jalil Abbas Jilani, Tehmina Janjua, Senator Sherry Rehman, Dr. Musadik Malik, and Khurram Dastgir Khan are among the delegation members.
New Delhi was the catalyst for the current nuclear-armed conflict following an attack in Pahalgam, IIOJK, on April 22.
