At 12:01 a.m. ET (0401GMT) on Monday, US President Donald Trump’s order prohibiting people of 12 nations from entering the country will go into effect. The president issued the order in an effort to defend the nation against “foreign terrorists.”
Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen are among the nations that are impacted by the most recent travel ban.
There will be partial restrictions on entrance for citizens of seven other nations: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
Republican Trump claimed that the nations with the strictest restrictions were found to have a “large-scale presence of terrorists.”
