ISLAMABAD Security officials have vehemently denied accusations that Pakistan supplied Iran with non-nuclear ballistic missiles, calling them irrational, unfounded, and a ploy by Indian media and its overseas affiliates.
The change occurred after a statement about Pakistan’s role in the Israel-Iran stalemate began making the rounds on social media, accompanied by pictures of the Iranian and Pakistani flags.
The statement was referred to as “fake” by diplomatic sources, who said it misattributed a declaration made by Pakistan that it would provide a “nuclear response” to Israel in support of Iran.
Additionally, they highlighted that the claim that Pakistan’s military would be joining the conflict alongside Iran was completely unfounded.
