UNITED NATIONS: As tensions with American partner Israel escalate, the United States has threatened Iran with “dire” consequences if it attacks its people, military installations, and other regional infrastructure.
US Senior Bureau Official of the Bureau of International Organization Affairs McCoy Pitt was quoted by Anadoglu Agency as saying, “The protection of US citizens, personnel, and forces in the region is our absolute, foremost priority.”
The Israeli strikes have killed at least 20 senior Iranian leaders, including scientists and Amir Ali Hajizadeh, the head of the Revolutionary Guards and the commander of the Aerospace Force.
