In order to attend the 51st Session of the Council of the Foreign Minister (CFM) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), which will take place from June 21–22, 2025, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar landed in Istanbul, Turkey, on Friday.
Consul General Nauman Aslam, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, Pakistan’s ambassador to Turkiye, and a representative of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the deputy prime minister upon his arrival.
DPM Dar will discuss Pakistan’s views on the Middle East given Israel’s recent aggressiveness against Iran and other regional governments, as well as the developments in South Asia in the wake of the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, during the plenary session.
