Following two of Palestine Action’s members breaking into a military post last week, British police barred the campaign organization from protesting outside parliament on Monday. The government is also considering banning the group.
In response, the group announced that it had moved Monday’s protest to Trafalgar Square, which is just outside of a police exclusion zone.
Since the beginning of the crisis in Gaza, the pro-Palestinian organization is one of several that have frequently attacked defense corporations and other British businesses associated with Israel.
According to British media, the government is thinking of classifying Palestine Action as a terrorist organization and banning it, thereby placing it on par with Daesh or Al Qaeda.
