KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), there may be some respite from the current humid period today in Karachi, with the potential of light rain or drizzle.
The PMD predicts that the city’s weather will continue to be humid with partly cloudy skies for the next 24 hours. While the lowest temperature was 29.7°C this morning, the maximum temperature is probably going to be between 34°C and 36°C.
A sea wind of 10 km/h is blowing, which helps to marginally reduce the humidity levels, which are still high at 75%.
After days of oppressive heat, the port city’s citizens are now enjoying a welcome shift in the weather.
