KARACHI: Aviation sources announced Tuesday that Pakistan has resumed flight operations to the Gulf area after airspace over Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain was reopened.
This comes after Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the country’s flag airline, temporarily halted flights late last night due to rising regional tensions.
Although PIA has already resumed flights to the Gulf, departure delays of five to thirteen hours are still anticipated.
Flight itineraries indicate that 32 flights, including 14 operated by Qatar Airways, have been canceled from airports in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and other locations throughout the nation.
