Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister, had his bail requests denied by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday in eight instances involving May 9, including the one involving the attack on Jinnah House.
Following hearing arguments from the prosecution and defense, a two-member bench led by Justice Shahbaz Ali Rizvi declared the reserved verdict.
After his detention, on May 9, 2023, violent protests broke out nationwide, prompting Imran Khan to file bail applications in connection with the cases filed against him.
The ATC had already denied Imran’s bail requests in all eight counts on November 27, 2024.
