A $350 million loan for Pakistan has been granted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with the goal of enhancing women’s financial access.
The money will be used to assist women’s economic empowerment and financial inclusion as part of the second phase of the “Women Inclusive Finance Sector Development Program,” according to ADB.
A $300 million policy-based loan and an extra $50 million in financial aid are part of the financial package, which aims to boost the effort even more.
According to ADB, the financing would be utilized to encourage women in Pakistan to engage in business endeavors. Enhancing women’s access to financial guarantees and credit facilities is another goal of the program.
