In stark contrast to Iran’s efforts to foster regional peace and unity, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has charged that Israel and the United States are actively trying to foment division among Muslim nations.
“We strongly believe that Iran is pursuing regional unity and peace, while the United States and the Zionist regime are trying to create rifts among Muslim nations,” President Pezeshkian stated on Tuesday over the phone with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
In an official statement released by his office, the Iranian president emphasized that Washington and Tel Aviv’s methods are intended to thwart regional collaboration on crucial matters including freedom from foreign interference, Palestinian rights, and regional stability.
