Numerous high-profile figures from the entertainment, banking, and film industries have been invited to Venice this week for three days of wedding festivities by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sanchez.
According to Reuters, the wedding and its components are anticipated to cost 40–48 million euros ($46.5–$55.6), citing Luca Zaia, president of the Veneto regional government, which includes Venice.
The wedding ceremony’s date and location are still under wraps, but the big celebration is scheduled for Saturday at the Arsenale (the Arsenal), a historic location in the city’s eastern region.
Meanwhile, a glittering array of A-listers has been drawn to an expensive wedding in Venice.
Those seen at the festivities include Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Oprah Winfrey.
