According to a statement from the royal family, Victoria, the Crown Princess of Sweden, paid a visit to Rosendal Palace in Djurgården in Stockholm.
According to the press release, “the palace is decorated in the Swedish Empire style, also known as the Karl Johan style, and still looks largely the same today as when it was built.”
It stated, “Rosendal Palace is open to visitors until August 31 in connection with guided tours.”
“Rosendal Palace, one of the ten royal palaces, was constructed in the 1820s for King Karl XIV Johan,” the royal family stated. Rosendal was frequently used by him and his family when they were in Stockholm for the summer.
