India has come under fire from Pakistan for misrepresenting statements made by Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir during his most recent trip to the US.
During his second trip to the United States in less than two months, COAS Munir engaged with the Pakistani diaspora at an event in Florida and met with top military and political figures.
Additionally, General Michael Kurilla, the 15th commander of the United States Central Command, had a goodbye function that Field Marshal Munir attended.
“We are a nuclear nation,” Field Marshal Munir said, according to Indian media reports that cited sources. We will bring half the globe down with us if we believe we are going down.
Both India and Pakistan have nuclear weapons, and in May they engaged in their bloodiest conflict.
