Brad Pitt and Joseph Kosinski, the director of F1: The Movie, are raving about how much fun it was to shoot the tumultuous movie amid actual races.
A brief promotional video has been created by the Abu Dhabi Film Commission and Creative Media Authority to demonstrate how the Yas Marina Circuit and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix made the ideal setting for Formula One filming.
Filming for the film started at the Yas Marina Circuit during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December 2024.
Scenes were filmed by Brad Pitt and co-star Damson Idris. Filming lasted for 29 days in total. was carried out on the site.
The site is “such a distinct setting in such a beautiful location,” according to Kosinski, who hailed it as the “ideal place to film.”
