According to Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, the nation’s hybrid system is operating effectively under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s direction.
Speaking on News’ “Talk” show, he explained that the system is founded on agreement between the military and political establishments, pointing out that this kind of structure guarantees both political stability and efficient governance.
He compared the present approach to the PTI era, claiming that mistrust amongst partners was the reason why the hybrid system under former Prime Minister Imran Khan failed.
“They never trusted each other, so it was bound to collapse,” he stated.
PTI leaders are now publicly split, and their internal strife speaks for itself, Asif continued. “I don’t even need to comment — their infighting is visible,” he said.
