In previous years, the actors who starred in the movies based on J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books had different opinions about gender identity.
Miriam Margolyes has now joined the discussion by expressing her viewpoint.
“I’ve never met [Rowling], and I’ve never discussed this with her,” the actor, who portrayed Professor Sprout in the wizarding series, stated during an appearance on A Gay Old Time Podcast. I think her detective novels are fantastic, and she is a very talented writer.”
