Khurram Shahzad, a fast bowler for Pakistan, is adamant that his steady play in the T20 Blast and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier this year will open the door for him to be included in Pakistan’s white-ball lineup.
Khurram, 25, comes from the Mandi Bahauddin district and has played in six Test matches since making his debut for Pakistan against Australia in December 2023. For the second half of this season, Worcestershire County Cricket Club signed him to play in the County Championship and the T20 Blast.
In addition to playing red-ball cricket, I genuinely feel that I will also play white-ball cricket for Pakistan. I’ve spent the last five years participating in the Pakistan Super League.
