A summary calling for a meeting of the provincial assembly on July 20 was signed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Thursday.
The MPs elected on reserved seats will take the oath of office during the session, according to sources.
Governor Kundi told the media that in preparation for the next Senate elections, talks between the opposition and the administration should take place.
In the presence of 35 independent senators, he made it apparent that the opposition might win additional Senate seats if consultations were not conducted.
According to Kundi, he made recommendations to the authorities to lessen the likelihood of horse trade.
