Actress Humaira Asghar’s parents have spoken out after her untimely death, denying rumors that they disowned her and casting doubt on the circumstances surrounding her passing.
Humaira’s mother and father, Dr. Asghar, denied media rumors that they had abandoned their daughter in death during appearances with local television stations. They also denied rumors that she had been struggling financially when she passed away.
“That we declined to collect her body is not accurate. After the legal procedures were finished, I had sent my son to Karachi to pick it up,” Dr. Asghar stated. After family members got in touch with us, the police notified us. We had to wait because the post-mortem and procedural work was yet incomplete.
