Dr. Mahrang Baloch, the head of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), and other group organizers were physically remanded into police custody for an additional 15 days on Friday by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta.
Sections 7 and 11W of the Anti-Terrorism Act as well as 16 sections of the Pakistan Penal Code were violated, according to a formal complaint filed at the Saryab Police Station.
These accusations include inciting violence and insurrection, terrorism, murder, attempted murder, causing unrest, inciting racial hatred, and property damage.
According to Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) Ordinance, Mahrang and 17 other people were taken into custody and are presently being held at the Quetta District Jail.
