When unidentified armed individuals ambushed the Balochistan Constabulary’s convoy in Mastung on Friday, one member accepted martyrdom and three others were hurt.
The attack happened on the national highway close to Mastung, where unidentified attackers targeted a car belonging to the acting Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), according to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind.
Balochistan has seen a rise in terrorism, with terrorists attacking both security forces and civilians. After the defeat in Pahalgam, proxies supported by India have also stepped up their attacks in Pakistan.
For quick medical attention, the injured were sent to a local hospital. To find and capture the culprits, security personnel raced to the scene, roped off the area, and began a search.
