Age fraud in junior-level sporting events has been deemed a major transgression of the Pakistan Sports Board’s (PSB) Code of Ethics and Governance in Sports, and the organization has announced strict new measures to address the problem.
Athletes under 21 who compete in junior events are now required to present a National Identity Card (CNIC) or a B-Form, as well as the identities of the selection committee members, dental exams, and radiological testing, per a PSB notification.
Additionally, any supporting documentation and medical reports that have been approved by the president and secretary general of the relevant sports organization must be sent to the PSB for validation.
