In order to further his vision for a justice system that is focused on the needs of its citizens, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi of Pakistan presided over the fifth interactive session at the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday.
Senior authorities, interested parties, and Supreme Court personnel gathered for the session to assess the status of comprehensive judicial reforms meant to improve service delivery and increase access to justice across the country.
Top officials from the Supreme Court, including the Registrar and members from the Federal Judicial Academy and the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan (LJCP), attended the conference.
The Chief Justice was informed that the Court’s ambitious reform plan was making significant progress. 26 of the 89 initiatives that were selected have been successfully finished, demonstrating tangible progress in important areas.
