In spite of “severe” damage from US strikes, Iran would not give up its nuclear program, including uranium enrichment, its foreign minister stated before of Friday’s negotiations with Britain, France, and Germany in Istanbul. The 2015 nuclear agreement is being undermined, Tehran claims, by European powers.
Tehran claims European powers sabotaged a historic 2015 nuclear agreement, and Iran is set to meet Britain, France, and Germany in Istanbul on Friday to discuss its nuclear program.
It will be the first meeting since the U.S. launched strikes on Tehran’s nuclear facilities during Iran’s 12-day conflict with Israel last month.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated on Monday in a “Special Report with Bret Baier” that enrichment “is stopped for the time being because, yes, damages are serious and severe.”
