LAHORE: According to police officials on Friday, security personnel shot down an Indian drone in the Manawan neighborhood of Lahore.
They claimed that as soon as the drone’s movement was discovered within Pakistani land, security personnel launched an immediate attack on it.
The police sources further stated that since no explosives were discovered on the gadget, it seemed to be a surveillance drone.
According to sources, intelligence services have detained the drone and begun an investigation.
The most recent occurrence occurred months after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire in May 2025 after a military clash in April that was sparked by an attack on tourists in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) that New Delhi attributed to Islamabad.
