Adam Sandler and his movie Happy Gilmore 2 have now received accolades from George Clooney.
In anticipation of the November 14 premiere of Jay Kelly, a movie in which the two costarred, the legendary actor asked that the comedy showcase more of Adam’s acting prowess.
“This movie more than any other demonstrates Adam’s talent as a stunning, sensitive, and emotional actor. I insisted that the cast not refer to him as Sand Man. Don’t treat him as though he’s a silly comic. “He’s a truly stunning and amazing actor,” George told Vanity Fair.
“Because doing big goofy comedies is what he gets paid to do,” the Wolfs star went on.
