The 66th Grammy Awards honored female artists from a variety of genres, including Miley Cyrus, Joni Mitchell, and Celine Dion, as well as Taylor Swift, SZA, and Boygenius. Jay-Z also paused to acknowledge Beyonce’s brilliance.
After winning for Fearless, 1989, and Folklore, Taylor Swift became the first artist to win the accolade a record four times with her triumph for best album for Midnights.

The music superstar, 34, surpassed Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra, who had previously shared the lead with three victories apiece.
Swift also thrilled her hordes of admirers by announcing on stage that her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, would be out on April 19. She also shared a picture of the album’s front cover on social media.
She acknowledged that she had been keeping the best pop vocal album a secret for the last two years.
Swift attended her first major music event, the Grammys, after she was the target of a deepfake hack on social media late last month, in which phony, lewd pictures of her appeared online.
“Guys, I feel so alone,” Swift said as she gathered her crew around her to accept the award. She then thanked everyone who had contributed to the album’s success.
She stated: “I wish I could tell you that this is the happiest moment of my life, but I’m happiest when I’m working with my dancers, finishing a song, or deciphering a particularly difficult bridge.
“The labor itself is the reward for me… I appreciate you so much for providing me with this opportunity; all I want to do is keep doing it. “Amazing!”
