The NFL Super Bowl LVIII is quickly approaching in Las Vegas, where the league is making full use of the state-of-the-art Sphere as a promotional tool.
Prior to the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers game, TalkSport said that The Sphere’s advertising has increased to about $2 million.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero wrote, “Good morning from Las Vegas, where even the Sphere is in the Super Bowl spirit,” along with pictures of the enormous ball fully lighted up like 49ers and Chiefs helmets on X, the former name of Twitter.
NFL fans took notice of the photographs right away, and they received positive feedback on social media.
“This is really lovely,” a fan commented.
Amazing usage of the sphere, commented another admirer.
A third fan exclaimed, “That’s awesome.”
One of the four fans tweeted, “That’s dope.”
The NFL used The Sphere to promote its team brands, but any business looking to reach a wide audience through fancy advertising needs to be ready to shell out a lot of money for it.
As game day draws near, Campaign claims that the rates will fluctuate between $1 million and $2 million.
There will only be two brands present on game day, and the takeover will endure for about 12 hours.
Formula One used The Sphere for its own promotions while the Irish rock band U2 gave a spectacular grand opening performance.
