The Stallone family has finally made a major decision, announcing their plans on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, during the debut of The Family Stallone’s second season.
On the second season premiere of the television series, Sylvester Stallone disclosed to his daughters Scarlet, Sistine, and Sophia that he and his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone, were moving to Florida.
“After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, time to move on and leave the state of California permanently, and we’re going to go to Florida,” the actor, who is 77, said in a statement.
Sylvester’s 55-year-old wife joined in, adding, “It’s an empty nest. I need to change things up.
For perspective, Sylvester Stallone, sometimes known as Sly, and Jennifer had lived in a “empty nest” since their two kids, Sophia and Sistine, moved in together in New York City, while Scarlet began her undergraduate years at the University of Miami.
“I raised our three girls in California. Everything is a memory to me, recollections of them not being present anymore. So I wanted a significant makeover, and Sly agreed,” Jennifer explained in an interview.
After Jennifer filed for divorce in August 2022, the pair decided to move to Florida and reconcile.
