Today (Monday), Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will fly to Tianjin, China, for the Council of Foreign Ministers meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which will take place from July 14–16, 2025.
The foreign ministers of every SCO member state, including Pakistan, China, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, will attend the CFM meeting, according to a statement from the Foreign Office.
Additionally, the Belarusian foreign minister will be attending the CFM for the first time as a forum member.
In the SCO format, the CFM is the third-highest forum. It focuses on foreign and security policies, as well as international relations issues.
