Pakistan would continue to provide political, diplomatic, and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who are fighting for their right to freedom and self-determination, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said on Sunday.
He added in a statement on July 13th, Kashmir Martyrs’ Day, “The day is observed every year to pay tribute to the 22 Kashmiris who sacrificed their lives on July 13, 1931, while protesting against the Dogra forces of Jammu and Kashmir.”
“It acts as a reminder of the Muslims of Kashmir’s innate steadfastness, resistance to violent forces, and unflinching resolve.
Throughout Kashmir’s history, the fight for freedom, human rights, and Kashmiri rights has persisted,” the premier stated.
