At the age of 79, Rod Stewart is redefining himself by exploring new musical genres.
Recently, the rock icon collaborated with Jools Holland and the bandleader’s Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to produce a brand-new swing album called “Swing Fever,” which is quickly rising the Official U.K. Album Charts and headed for the top slot.
After Holland’s first-ever number-one album and 2019’s “You’re In My Heart,” Stewart will release “Swing Fever,” her first album to reach the top of the charts in five years. In an interview with The Associated Press, Stewart said that when they first started working together, he gave Holland the idea for the record.
Stewart declared, “I’m not going to perform any slow songs.” “I want everyone to be joyful and upbeat [claps].”
