PESHAWAR: Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F), stated on Friday that any reform in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must come from within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
At a press conference in Peshawar, he stated, “My suggestion has been made — there should be a change in the province.”
The province cannot afford more political turmoil, he stressed, and JUI-F would only make decisions about it after consulting with the parties.
Speaking about the Senate, Fazl stated that it was too soon to comment on any potential changes.
After the Supreme Court declared on June 27 that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has no right to reserved seats.
