LAHORE: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur arrived in Lahore to open the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) anti-government campaign on Saturday. Gandapur claimed that political rallies that begin in the city have a history of resonating across the country.
Gandapur stated, “We will take practical steps after consultation to move forward,” during a crucial consultative session that was held at a farmhouse in Raiwind, Lahore.
“We need to consider how to make it reach its zenith by August 5,” stated the chief minister of KP.
His remarks followed PTI founder Imran Khan’s directive to his party that the anti-government demonstration should “hit peak” on August 5, the day he serves out his two-year jail sentence.
