ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated his government’s dedication to attaining economic prosperity by implementing long-overdue institutional adjustments, structural reforms, and a renewed emphasis on merit-based governance.
Speaking to a group of Pakistani students enrolled in top universities across the globe and chosen for the government’s internship summer scholars program, Uraan Pakistan, he stated, “The road is very challenging as there were long overdue reforms and the structural changes had not taken place in the last many decades.”
The prime minister emphasized the need for Pakistan to make these long-overdue structural changes via persistent and arduous work.
