Retired general and member of Israel’s military cabinet Mr. Gantz was informed by Lord Cameron that “we are still not seeing improvements on the ground”.
The two met on Wednesday afternoon in downtown London.
Israel “as the occupying power” in Gaza, the foreign secretary emphasized, had a legal obligation to guarantee the supply of supplies.
“These are difficult but important talks,” Lord Cameron wrote on social media.
Prior to the meeting, during a foreign affairs discussion in the House of Lords, Lord Cameron claimed that Israel required “a whole series of warnings” regarding the amount of aid that was reaching Gaza.
