RAWALPINDI: Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been forbidden from organizing meetings in Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail for two weeks, Geo News reported on Tuesday.
According to a warning issued by Punjab’s Home Department, all types of visits, meetings, and interviews at Adiala Jail have been barred owing to a security alert.
The notification instructed the authorities to place barbed wires outside the jail. A new security audit of the special section of the police, the Intelligence Bureau, and the jail personnel should be completed in a single day.
