A youth climate adviser for the UN has a history of making calls on social media to overthrow capitalism, alleging that “terrorism” is a Western lie intended to defend imperialism, and attacking White people for allegedly contributing to humanity’s extinction in relation to the climate problem.
Ayisha Siddiqa, a Pakistani-American, was personally chosen by UN Secretary-General António Guterres to serve as one of his advisors in order to “accelerate[e] the implementation of his climate action agenda,” according to a UN statement from 2023. A Time Woman of the Year in 2023, Siddiqa is a co-founder of two groups that support young people who are climate activists.
“With a strong focus on speeding the execution of his climate action agenda, the Secretary-General receives advice and concrete proposals from the Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change, which is outcome-focused and practical.
Siddiqa appears to be more than just an environmentalist based on her posts on social media. She regularly disparages White people while openly promoting extreme leftist ideas including doing away with the police, supporting socialism, and spreading stuff with Marxist and anti-capitalist themes.
