Recently, on social networking site X, formerly Twitter, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) politician Sher Afzal Marwat and close assistant to party founder Imran Khan, Salman Ahmad, have been involved in a verbal sparring match.
The two started arguing after Salman reshared a tweet in which the author questioned the politician’s motives and asserted that Marwat had been rightfully dismissed by the PTI founder.
The lawmaker was also referred to as a “wrong number” by him, in the same way as former party leader Khurram Hameed Khan Rokhri, who was suspended after making an exposé on PTI.
“And Mr. @sherafzalmarwat you took undue advantage of your leader,” Salman wrote in a post on X. @ImranKhanIt’s fair that PTI has excluded you. Similar like Khurram Rokhri, you are an incorrect number.
