Reminiscent of their first meeting on the set of the hit television series “Sita Bagri” in 2016, the couple took comfort in their common experiences of divorce and being unmarried. Hussain warmly recalled popping the question to Ansari at this time, starting a friendship that defied expectations.
In retrospect, Ansari said of her own divorce experience, “It took me a year and a half to come to terms with my divorce, and I never envisioned remarriage until I met Iqbal.” She underlined how crucial it is to welcome fresh starts, particularly when genuine companionship is involved.
