On Tuesday, Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Karachi with a team following his engagements in Islamabad and Lahore. This was the third leg of his tour to Pakistan.
The dignitaries were greeted warmly by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Tessori, and other prominent members of the provincial cabinet as soon as they arrived at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
First Lady Aseefa Bhutto, the daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari, was also at the airport to greet the dignitaries.
To prevent any unforeseen incident, strict security measures were in place at the airport and the surrounding areas.
