A few years ago, the actress from “Big Bang Theory” purchased her property in Thousand Oaks, California, which is located north of Hollywood.
Sitting in her barn, the 38-year-old told People magazine, “I wanted something away from L.A.” “I’ve been in the entertainment industry my entire life, and I truly adore being an actor and the business. After more than thirty years, I know nothing else. I do love that aspect of my life, but this is also really important to me, so I knew I needed a special spot that wasn’t that and felt more rooted, more genuine, and more family-oriented.”
The property serves as a haven from the pressures of being a famous person in Hollywood.
Cuoco said, “I come out here and there’s no phone.” “You’ve got to get on [your horse] and you ride, and then you get off and you grab a carrot, and you go walk in to see all the little animals and they’re all running up to you and it’s like, ‘Oh, my gosh,’ you just feel so honored.”
But the actress, who called herself a “California girl from Day One,” expressed her desire to remain in the state in an interview with Los Angeles Magazine this month. “No matter where I go in the world, this will always be the place I want to be.”
