A ministerial meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) will take place in Tehran this week. This meeting will be attended by presidents of regional and multilateral Asian organizations as well as foreign ministers and other high-ranking officials from 35 different nations.
This momentous multilateral occasion occurs while the Islamic Republic of Iran laments the passing and martyrdom of two multilateralism pioneers, the late president Raisi and the late foreign minister Dr. Amir-Abdollahian, who both wisely backed the forthcoming gathering in Tehran.
Under the direction of the murdered president and foreign minister, the current Iranian administration has demonstrated a sincere and impressive dedication to developing Asian identity and focusing on the East in order to make up for its monopolized interactions with and dependency on the West.
