Since 2019, the Charlala family has been performing songs with a seashore theme at Worthy Farm’s renowned festival.
To ensure that everyone can participate, the workshops will include singing, bubble guns, and stimulating props.
Elizabeth McGregor, a member, stated: Our goal is to assist individuals with self-control, lowering their level of worry, and simply being in the moment.
She continued, “Singing is much more than just a musical activity; it’s a powerful tool for social bonding and emotional regulation.”
“With over 200,000 attendees, Glastonbury truly attracts a diverse range of individuals with varying needs.”
We simply felt that having an accessible sing-along session would be extremely lovely for everyone to participate in.
The group began performing at Glastonbury in 2019 after Ms. McGregor wrote co-founder Michael Eavis a Valentine’s Day note.
The singer, who suffers from news, claimed she was “shocked” to receive a call informing her that Mr. Eavis had enjoyed the card and was looking forward to The Charlala’s performance.
“June 2019 brought us the opening of Glastonbury-on-Sea, where we stood next to Michael Eavis, and it was the most amazing experience ever,” Ms. McGregor stated.
