ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and a number of other leaders were declared not guilty in a case filed at the Aapbara Police Station by a district and sessions court in the federal capital.
During today’s session, Judicial Magistrate Yasir Mehmood declared the outcome of the reserved ruling on the acquittal petitions last week.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Sheikh Rasheed, Asad Qaiser, Shehryar Afridi, Faisal Javed, Raja Khurram Nawaz, and Ali Nawaz Awan are among the other notable figures who have been cleared in this case.
Attorneys Sardar Masroof and Ansar Kayani of the PTI presented the case on behalf of the former prime minister and other parties.
