Jaminet, a Toulon player, was a late substitute in his country’s victory over Argentina on the road on Saturday.
The footage he posted to his Instagram account has been spread on social media even after he removed the post.
The French Rugby Federation declared that it “condemns comments” made by the 25-year-old “in a video broadcast on social media” and sent Jaminet home from the tour.
“Such remarks are completely unacceptable and go against the core principles of our sport,” it continued.
Melvyn Jaminet has been cut from the France team and is currently in Argentina as a result.
We are conducting an internal inquiry to shed light on these remarks, which are quite serious, and we will take the necessary action.”
In a 28–13 victory over Argentina, Jaminet was substituted in after 72 minutes and scored a penalty.
In addition, Toulon declared that they “distance themselves from them” and launched “an internal investigation” in response to Jaminet’s remarks.
In response, Jaminet released a statement expressing his “deep regret and shame for my remarks.”
