In an interview with Chinese media, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza reiterated the strength of Pakistan-China ties, describing the friendship as “stronger than steel, deeper than oceans, and higher than mountains.”
General Mirza discussed the recent military confrontation with India and said that Pakistan used all of its national might, from cyber capabilities to air and space capabilities, to protect its sovereignty. He pointed out that Pakistan’s cutting-edge fighter jets, especially the JF-17 Thunder and J-10C aircraft with Chinese assistance, greatly contributed to the operational victory.
“We used all of our capabilities, including the air, space, and cyber domains, in the fight with India,” he said. Conducting a multi-domain operation had a synergistic effect.
