The European Political Community (EPC) summit, which the prime minister is hosting at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, is anticipated to draw at least 45 heads of state from across Europe. The news was founded in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2016.
The conference is open to all of Europe, with the exception of Belarus and Russia. Its goal is to rally support for Ukraine, where combat is predicted to pick up steam this summer.
It occurs just a few days after the US attempt on Donald Trump’s life, which seems to have changed the presidential contest and sparked the worries of a Republican.
However, the conference is also viewed as a unique chance for the next administration to talk about two of Sir Keir’s stated priorities, which Downing Street warned might have taken months to complete: a European security accord and reducing trade barriers with the EU.
