The company claims that it takes responsibility for the wellbeing of viewers “very seriously,” that it would provide the production team with additional training, and that it will appoint two welfare producers to the show’s staff.
It follows the news that Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima have departed the show.
While examining Pernice’s behavior, he has called the accusations “simply false” and stated he looks forward to clearing his record. Although Di Prima has stated that he “deeply” regrets the circumstances that led to his own exit, he is unable to “discuss at this time” certain “aspects” of the narrative.
Although the great majority of participants in our concerts have had excellent experiences, we always take concerns seriously and take necessary action if they are brought to our attention or if we become aware of inappropriate behavior,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
“Training and rehearsals have been at the core of concerns that have surfaced. Our announcement today of the decisive steps we have taken serves to reinforce the welfare and support systems in place for all parties involved in this production.
